Strawberry shortcake birthday card

My Granddaughter Madie was having a Strawberry Shortcake themed birthday party for her 2 year birthday. I wanted to make her a card to match the theme but had to find a picture of Strawberry Shortcake on the internet and then printed it on photo paper to use on front of the card. I cut the image out and added some stickles on the image. I thought it turned out rather good considering I didn't have any way to cut a Strawberry Shortcake out with my cricut machine.

Fall birthday cards

Two of the ladies from my work had October birthdays so I made both of them fall birthday cards. I used one of DCWV fall paper stacks for the paper. I needed something quick and simple since I had Halloween cards to do also. These were very simple to do.

Male birthday card

I made this card for my male boss at work. I used the Life is a Beach cartridge for the lighthouse and seagulls. I pop dotted the lighthouse and the seagulls to make them stand out on the card. The paper is from one of DCWV paper stacks.

Halloween cards

Here are some Halloween cards I made for kids. I got the idea for the Frankenstein card off the internet from someone else's blog. Thought he turned out really cute!

Female Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for my son's girlfriend. I used the cartridge forever young to cut the girl and made a double image to make the girl look like she was looking in the mirror at herself. Inside the card says: May your birthday be a reflection of everything you are.

Just a Swingin' layout

Our local scrapbook store was selling these tire swings that were cut out using the slice machine and I recently got new pictures of my Granddaughter's swinging on their new tire swing their dad had put up this summer so when I saw these tire swings I knew I had to make a page layout with them. The paper is from the Imaginisce line and the leaves on the top of the tree is from the small leaves that I cut out from paper and adhered to make it look like the leaves on a tree. The title of the page is cut with the Cuttin Up cartridge and the squirrel is cut with Animal Kingdom. It was a lot of fun making this but also very time consuming cutting out all those leaves! It was worth it in the end! My two page layout is hanging up at our local scrapbook store where the paper that I used is sold.

Dog sympathy card

I got the sad news from my sister that her 1 1/2 year old dog passed away. She found him dead in her back yard when she came home from work on her lunch hour and doesn't know why he died. She was pretty upset as anyone that is a pet lover would be. So I made her this card to send to her. I used the Graphically Speaking cartridge to cut the girl and dog and added some small rhinestones for the dogs collar.
