Strawberry shortcake birthday card

My Granddaughter Madie was having a Strawberry Shortcake themed birthday party for her 2 year birthday. I wanted to make her a card to match the theme but had to find a picture of Strawberry Shortcake on the internet and then printed it on photo paper to use on front of the card. I cut the image out and added some stickles on the image. I thought it turned out rather good considering I didn't have any way to cut a Strawberry Shortcake out with my cricut machine.

Fall birthday cards

Two of the ladies from my work had October birthdays so I made both of them fall birthday cards. I used one of DCWV fall paper stacks for the paper. I needed something quick and simple since I had Halloween cards to do also. These were very simple to do.

Male birthday card

I made this card for my male boss at work. I used the Life is a Beach cartridge for the lighthouse and seagulls. I pop dotted the lighthouse and the seagulls to make them stand out on the card. The paper is from one of DCWV paper stacks.

Halloween cards

Here are some Halloween cards I made for kids. I got the idea for the Frankenstein card off the internet from someone else's blog. Thought he turned out really cute!

Female Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for my son's girlfriend. I used the cartridge forever young to cut the girl and made a double image to make the girl look like she was looking in the mirror at herself. Inside the card says: May your birthday be a reflection of everything you are.

Just a Swingin' layout

Our local scrapbook store was selling these tire swings that were cut out using the slice machine and I recently got new pictures of my Granddaughter's swinging on their new tire swing their dad had put up this summer so when I saw these tire swings I knew I had to make a page layout with them. The paper is from the Imaginisce line and the leaves on the top of the tree is from the small leaves that I cut out from paper and adhered to make it look like the leaves on a tree. The title of the page is cut with the Cuttin Up cartridge and the squirrel is cut with Animal Kingdom. It was a lot of fun making this but also very time consuming cutting out all those leaves! It was worth it in the end! My two page layout is hanging up at our local scrapbook store where the paper that I used is sold.

Dog sympathy card

I got the sad news from my sister that her 1 1/2 year old dog passed away. She found him dead in her back yard when she came home from work on her lunch hour and doesn't know why he died. She was pretty upset as anyone that is a pet lover would be. So I made her this card to send to her. I used the Graphically Speaking cartridge to cut the girl and dog and added some small rhinestones for the dogs collar.

Thanks a melon cards

I needed some thank you cards for my work so I made these two watermelon cards that I got the idea from my local scrapbook store. I used the doodlecharms cartridge for the watermelon and welded the 2 watermelon images together on my gypsy to make a card, then cut them out on the cricut. The inside sentiment says "Thanks a melon!" Used Diamond glaze on the watermelon seeds to make them look shiny and wet.

Butterfly card

I made this butterfly card with K & Co. Amy Butler's Lotus mat pad paper and coordinating butterly. Used kraft paper for the card and used a punch on the patterned paper and gems on the butterfly. Attached some ribbon from my local scrapbook store and the blank setiment where I will stamp my setiment was cut using my cricut and the Storybook cartridge. Don't know what type of card this will be yet so left the setiment blank for now. Inked papers in brown ink.

Valentine's Day Cards

These are the two Valentine cards I made for my two Granddaughters. Since I had found the little stuffed Hello Kitty at Wal-greens with the candy I thought I would make Hello Kitty cards to go along with the stuffed kitty.

Father's Day Card

Another Father's day card that I made for my son in law. I cut the old truck out of the Heritage cartridge at 2 1/2 inches and made it run off the side of the card. Shadowed the car with the mirror image paper and the background paper is from Bo Bunny. The sentiment is typed on the computer.

Summer birthday card for my cousin

I got the idea for this card off of a stamping website where they did all the items on the card with stamps. Well, I used my cricut for all the cuts. I used the Life's a Beach cartridge for the drink and sun and Create a Critter for the palm tree. Backgound paper is from Bo Bunny. Added stickles for sparkle.

Father's Day Card

This year for my husband I made him this Father's day card since he likes farming and tractor's. I used the tractor from My Community and cut it at 2 1/2 inches and used DCWV paper. The setiment is printed from my computer and ran through the zyron and added glitter.
